Meet Anna

Anna Zarovsky, LCSW, CADC

I’ve always been passionate about people, and have had an undeniable fascination with how the brain and behavior works and leads us.

I’ve often been told that I’m not like every other therapist (which I love!). That’s pretty fitting since clients can be surprised (and then excited!) by some of my unconventional approaches to skill-work. I am a strong believer that what works for one may or may not work for others and that is welcomed in the space with me, so skills I offer and teach can be tailored. Through use of evidence- based approaches, my technique offers a slow and paced process, as we build a relationship that is trusting, honest, and collaborative.

In the room with me, you will find a blend of process work (heart) and psychoeducation and cutting edge research (science). In the first few sessions, we learn about each other and begin building a rapport. The rest of our work meets you where you’re at. I believe in gentle challenging to move through patterns that are not serving anymore. I use humor, compassion and homework as a means to get there.

My promise to you: I will continue my best efforts to hold space safely, listen intently, and to continue to learn and grow my skillset and knowledge base byway of consultation groups, trainings, workshops, podcasts, books, articles, and journals.

“IMPERFECTIONS ARE NOT INADEQUACIES; THEY ARE REMINDERS THAT WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.”
